Kids Classes

At the International Jiu-Jitsu School, children are trained in age-specific groups that follow a clear, progressive development structure.

Ages 3–6

This group introduces young children to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through structured movement, balance exercises, and play-based learning.

​

Training focuses on:

​

  • basic body coordination and motor skills
     

  • introduction to fundamental BJJ positions
     

  • listening skills, discipline, and following instructions
     

Classes are designed to build a positive attitude toward physical activity while gently introducing children to the training environment.

Ages 7–9

In this stage, children begin learning simple Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques through clear explanations and guided practice.

Training includes:

​

  • fundamental techniques and positions
     

  • controlled drills and task-based games
     

  • development of coordination, focus, and confidence
     

The program encourages technical understanding while maintaining an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere.

Ages 10+

The 10+ group serves as a transition toward adult-style Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training.

​

Training focuses on:

​

  • structured technical instruction
     

  • basic self-defense concepts
     

  • fitness, teamwork, and discipline
     

  • controlled sparring adapted to age and experience
     

This group prepares students for long-term progression in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a smooth transition into the Teens or Adults programs.
